A common problem in many financial transaction processing networks is that of monitoring of various critical elements like fitness and supply status of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), processing and communication status of back end system(s), monitoring service uptime, Intuitive call management and call escalation, processing and communication status of external authorization points (e.g. VISA, Cirrus, National or Regional Shared ATM switch etc.)

For effective management of a bank’s electronic transaction network and for ensuring a high uptime, it is essential that various end points involved in transaction processing can be intuitively managed and monitored from a central site through resources of varying experiences.

InSight is a web based monitoring, management and reporting tool for Self Service Terminals, can be the solution for monitoring a bank’s self service network. .

InSight is highly configurable where the user can set up their own views, alarms and levels of detail that they want to monitor. InSight can be installed in a single institution or a multi institution environment while the monitoring can be done over the Internet or a private network.

Since InSight also provides an online view of the supplies and cash status in the ATM, a bank can take proactive measures to ensure its ATM network uptime.

The ATM Monitoring function of InSight is self-learning and automatically discovers the ATMs attached to the network it is monitoring. Designed with a web-based interface in mind, InSight offers ease-of-use and operations through an intuitive user interface. InSight connects directly with the SSTs allowing quicker and accurate acquisition of information.
